Overview of steel ladle furnace lining laser thickness gauge:
The LDT-L200 Ladle Furnace Liner Laser Thickness Gauge is a new generation of ladle furnace liner thickness gauges introduced by our company. The system emits a pulsed laser beam onto the inner lining surface of the ladle and receives the returned laser to measure the flight time. It then calculates the distance between the device and the target point based on the laser's transmission speed. During measurement, users place the device at a specific position on the platform in front of the ladle. After the device quickly self-positions, it begins scanning and measuring the target area of the ladle.
Measurement principle of steel ladle furnace lining laser thickness gauge:
The measurement speed of LDT-L200 is more than 2,000,000 points per second. The distance data of more than 1.5 million points can be measured in each frame scan. By combining the measurement data from different positions, the actual surface curve of the entire steel ladle lining can be obtained.
During the measurement, the laser head of the equipment rotates at a certain step Angle to quickly change the Angle of the pulsed laser beam emitted by it. Within 1 minute, the three-dimensional profile of the surface of the area of the lining of the steel ladle can be formed, and the thickness information of the furnace lining can be calculated through coordinate transformation with a measurement accuracy of up to ±2mm.
To accurately measure the thickness of the furnace lining in a steel ladle, the laser thickness gauge is mounted on the ladle repair platform. The measuring head is installed by moving the rotating arm. During measurement, the laser scanning head is positioned at the intersection point, which is precisely calculated during installation to ensure the correct relative position between the laser head and the ladle opening. Through mathematical modeling, the laser scan can then display a complete three-dimensional image of the lining thickness within the entire ladle.
