A mineral electric furnace, also known as an electric arc furnace or resistance furnace, is primarily used for the reduction smelting of ores, carbon-based reducing agents, and solvents. It is mainly used to produce iron alloys such as silicon iron, manganese iron, chromium iron, tungsten iron, and silicon-manganese alloy, which are important industrial raw materials in the metallurgical industry and chemical raw materials such as calcium carbide. The transformer of a mineral electric furnace has a continuous and stable load, low impedance voltage, multiple voltage regulation stages, small stage differences, and strong overload capacity. It can be divided into two types: on-load voltage regulation and no-load voltage regulation. Generally, the first few stages have constant capacity output, while the latter stages have constant current output.
