The introduction of the electric furnace bottom blowing technology not only reduces the steel output temperature of the electric furnace by 20 degrees Celsius, shortens the smelting time and reduces the cost of steelmaking, but also improves the yield of steel materials.
This technology is to install a blowing system device at the bottom of the electric furnace, and two gases, nitrogen and argon, are passed into the bottom of the furnace. The size of the gas flow is controlled by the PLC system, and the two gases are exchanged according to the smelting needs during operation. During steelmaking, the use of furnace bottom blowing technology can accelerate the heat and mass transfer of the molten pool, improve the dephosphorization and desulfurization effect, and reduce the amount of lime. The application of this technology also basically eliminates the unevenness of molten steel in the molten pool, improves the reliability of temperature measurement and composition analysis, and makes the operation smooth, avoids the loss of molten steel with slag, reduces the occurrence of sudden boiling phenomenon, and also improves the production and operation environment of employees.
